Alan Lepler started in the memorial industry 1980, with the largest quarrier, manufacturer, and retailer in the Midwest. Watertown Monument Works, of his hometown Watertown, SD. He took on the challenge of learning and growing the company into multiple states. He moved with his family to Nebraska through the purchase of Norfolk Memorials of Norfolk then Desch-Paine Memorials of Grand Island. Watertown Monument Works later sold to the largest quarrier, manufacturer, and retailer in the world, Rock of Ages of Vermont. Alan transitioned with the sale to manage their new Midwest division. Several years later Rock of Ages sold their retail locations to Sunburst Memorials of Minnesota and converted to a very selective dealership model instead. Alan remained with Sunburst for a limited time through the transition then opened Monument Advisors as Nebraska's only Rock of Ages dealer and Multi-source provider. Today the legacy continues by Alan’s daughter Kelli Lepler. Her great passion for the industry, Nebraska communities, sustainability, and the same high quality product and service standards drives the company vision forward. She leads with plans for diversification and expansion in mind. The Monument Advisors team is growing. They consist of a collaboration of educated, trained, and experienced multi-generational professionals and apprentices. Together their ideas, dedication, and teamwork forge the company into the future.
